Free Market Consultation |
|---|
The first service you should request as a new Member is the Market Consultation. Let Iroquois’ experts review your contracts, commission schedules, profit sharing agreements, and competitive position in the market. We will make practical recommendations to help increase revenue and maximize company stability. The more we learn about your situation, the more we can help. |
Market Optimization |
|---|
Market Optimization usually involves identifying and developing new and better carrier relationships, and Iroquois has over 30 years experience in helping its Members find better markets. Market Optimization may also involve eliminating weak or broken carrier relationships. Sometimes, agents are hesitant to end a carrier relationship -- regardless of how unproductive it may have become -- due to concern for the short term disruption and cost to staff and clients. Iroquois’ new Market Alignment Program (MAP) was designed to address these concerns. For more information on Market Optimization and the Market Alignment Program, contact an Iroquois Representative. |
Book Transfer Assistance |
|---|
Book Transfer Assistance can turn a bad situation into a windfall for your agency. If you have a dead-end relationship with a carrier, take a proactive step to upgrade carriers, boost revenue, and better position your Agency for the future. Iroquois will provide the incentives and support. Iroquois has a turn-key Book Transfer program, which we call the Market Alignment Program. Contact an Iroquois Representative for more details. |
Agency Financial Benchmarking Analysis |
|---|
Iroquois is committed to helping its Members improve their financial results. One financial tool available to Member Agents in the top 2 levels of the PartnerPlan is the Agency Financial Benchmarking Analysis. This complimentary service involves a highly confidential analysis of the Member’s latest full year Income and Expense Statement, comparing the Member’s income and expenses to those of average peer agencies and to those of top performing peer agencies. Meaningful differences between the Member’s actual results and those of their average and best-performing peers are noted and, where appropriate, recommendations are provided on actions that may improve the Member’s results. |
Acquisition Assistance: The Exchange Program |
|---|
Iroquois provides a special service for its Member Agents who may be interested in either buying or selling an agency. Interested Members may confidentially register for the EXCHANGE Program, which features a database of enrolled Members and the parameters of their desired purchase or sale. (This is NOT a listing that other Members will see but rather a confidential, “behind the scenes” matching service.) Iroquois will notify participants when we identify either a prospective buyer or seller that meets the Member’s pre-determined specifications. |
Producer Financing Program |
|---|
Iroquois is committed to stimulating growth for its Member Agencies and Carrier Partners. One strategy for stimulating growth is the Iroquois Producer Financing Program (PFP), whereby Iroquois co-invests with select Member Agencies in the cost to hire and train new producers. This program is designed to benefit all parties involved: the Member Agency, new Producer, Carrier-Partners and Iroquois. See your Iroquois Representative for more details. Note: This program is available to members at levels 1,2 or 3 of the PartnerPlan. |
Producer Training Program |
|---|
Hiring new producers is an excellent way to stimulate new business, but producers must be properly trained if they are to be productive and cost effective. Iroquois’ Producer Training Program was designed to help offset the cost of training a new producer. For producers accepted into this program, Iroquois will pay all or part of the cost to send him or her to a carrier-sponsored training program, such as those run by The Hartford, Travelers, Montgomery, Ohio Casualty, Berkley Mid-Atlantic and AIG Private Client Group. |
Leads Generation Services |
|---|
Leads Generation Services are provided by many of our companies -- such as Travelers, Hartford, MetLife, and Zurich -- and by vendors such as Cole, NetQuote and NMS. See the discounts section of our website for special deals from lead generation vendors. If our members are willing to commit to using Iroquois’ markets exclusively for the leads that are generated, co-op arrangements can be available for carrier lead programs. |
Human Resources: Iroquois Hiring Systems (IHS) |
|---|
Iroquois’ 1,700 Member Agents share a common need to find, hire, train and develop the right employees to help their agencies grow and thrive. To help its members with this critical function, Iroquois worked with insurance consultants George Nordhaus and Virginia Bates to introduce Iroquois Hiring Systems. IHS is a web-based Human Resources portal, providing valuable tools and information on the candidate assessment and hiring process. IHS takes you beyond simple resume review and standard interviewing, enabling you to focus on objective assessment techniques to learn who a candidate is and what they do, not just what they say. Iroquois Hiring System assessments help:
The assessment tools are available to Iroquois members at a 15% discount from what other agencies would pay. We strongly encourage you to review this website and all of its resources. Iroquois Member Agents can access IHS by logging into the iMember portion of our website, or clicking this link: www.iroquoishiringsystem.com. |
Human Resources: Executive Recruitment |
|---|
Iroquois has developed relationships with two executive recruitment firms to help our members find and hire well qualified employees. iPeople specializes in high level postion searches, such as agency general managers, Personal or Commercial Lines Managers, etc. Allied Professional Resources (APR) specializes in placing Producers and CSRs. For more information on either company, and the discounted cost structure for Iroquois members, see the Discounts section of this website. |
Perpetuation Planning |
|---|
Iroquois can provide its members with assistance and support in identifying their perpetuation planning needs. |
Co-op Advertising |
|---|
Co-op Advertising is available under company specific programs -- such as Travelers, CNA, Zurich, and Met -- and through special arrangements made with Iroquois. In both cases, you need to allow plenty of time to get the proposed ad approved by management and legal. Iroquois’ co-op dollars are reserved for our Members in the top three Compensation Levels who have grown profitably and are committed to future growth. |
Iroquois Development Loans |
|---|
Iroquois is committed to the growth and prosperity of its Member Agents and is willing to contribute to their success by making available Development Loans. These loans can be used by Member Agencies to invest in such areas as new technology, producer or CSR financing, acquisitions, and satellite office development that will help take the agency to the next level of performance. See your Iroquois Representative for more information. Note: Iroquois Development Loans are available to members in levels 1, 2 or 3 of the PartnerPlan. |
